It’s funny. After months of working on this design with a rudimentary color palette, I got kind of attached to the black and blue version I had created.
The idea of adding color made me a bit nervous at first – kind of like a new ending revealed to your favorite movie or learning that one version of a song you’ve always loved wasn’t the original by a long shot.
It was good to know that the design could work in a monochrome format, but that wasn’t my decision to make.
